2026–2027 SEASON | COMPETITIVE TEAMS | BOYS' U15 THROUGH U19

Welcome to the ICBA Competitive Team Tryouts

This page contains all the information regarding tryouts for the U15 through U19 boys’ teams. Tryouts give athletes the opportunity to demonstrate their technical skills, basketball knowledge, work ethic, and team spirit in order to earn a spot on a competitive ICBA team.

WHAT IS THE SEASON LIKE?

  • The teams practice 2 to 3 times a week (sessions lasting 1 hour and 30 minutes or 2 hours each);
  • Their games are mainly played on weekends;
  • Play in the EOBA (Eastern Ontario Basketball Association) league or the National Capital Hoops Circuit in Ottawa;
  • They participate in about 4 to 5 tournaments during the season in the Ottawa, Belleville, Cornwall, Toronto, and Montreal areas

U18 — Under 18 as of December 31, 2026 (born in 2009 or later)

U19 — Under 19 years of age as of December 31, 2026 (born in 2008 or later)
