Participation

Players on competitive teams must participate in practices and games. Any absence must be excused. This participation is essential for building team spirit and allowing the coach to plan activities effectively.

Team categories by age

Competitive players are divided into groups based on age category.

• U12 Girls — Must be under 12 years of age as of December 31, 2026 (born in 2015 or later)
• U10 — Under 10 years of age as of December 31, 2026 (born in 2017 or later)
• U11 — Under 11 years of age as of December 31, 2026 (born in 2016 or later)
• U12 — Under 12 years of age as of December 31, 2026 (born in 2015 or later)
• U13 — Under 13 years of age as of December 31, 2026 (born in 2014 or later)
• U14 — Under 14 years of age as of December 31, 2026 (born in 2013 or later)
• U15 — Under 15 years of age as of December 31, 2026 (born in 2012 or later)
• U16 — Under 16 as of December 31, 2026 (born in 2011 or later)
• U17 — Under 17 years of age as of December 31, 2026 (born in 2010 or later)
• U18/19 — Under 19 as of December 31, 2026 (born in 2008 or later)

Competition Schedule

This season's teams:

• will participate in the Eastern Ontario Basketball Association (EOBA) or the National Capital Hoops Circuit (NCHC);
• will participate in four tournaments during the season (Ottawa, Montreal, Toronto, Kingston, Cornwall, Belleville, and...);
• will occasionally play exhibition games;
• will finish their season at the end of April 2027.
